Today was a very good day. I went to the movies with my younger brother and watched The Incredible Hulk. After that we headed home and then I went and joined some friends who had been swimming for a while. Water was great but it wasn't really hot today.
One thing I did notice is how the sun turns red when going down because of all the smoke in the air due to the wield fires up in northern California. Even in the morning around 6:15am, when I took my sister to sumer school, that sun was red as in rose from the east but after a while it became normal color.
After a while of swimming me and my friends went to Mooney to try to get something to eat but found that many places were close and ended up eating at Carl's Jr. I had two spicy chicken, and two strawberry shakes. It was delicious. As always, I'm surprised at the service I receive every time I go there. Its more then what you pay for but its good and friendly service for a fast food restaurant.
We headed home and hanged out for a while and then my friends went home and here I am writing this blog about my day. Hopefully tomorrow I wake up early to do what I plan to do.

June 25, 2008
Seen as how I haven't posted in about 4 days I thought I get back on track with blogging, its very easy for me to forget about this but since I can share a little of my life with other I see a little bit of encouragement for doing this. There is however that weird feeling knowing that people are reading about your life and you don't know who they are.
Anyways this last four days have gone by rather quick. Sunday I went to work got out at 2pm and headed home. The family went to Cutler Park to go swimming but I felt a bit tired so I skipped that day in the sun and just stayed home and watched some TV. ( I pay for the dish but I hardly watch TV so I'm making an effort to get my moneys worth)
Monday... Monday... I forget what I did on Monday. Oh yeah, I played my instrument for hours on end. I play the cello. The only significant thing I did on Tuesday was cut the front yard grass. I also played some music for a few hours.

Today I woke up early and tried going to sleep but found it rather difficult with an empty stomach so after a few unsuccessful attempts I got up and had a cup of milk and a banana. That worked for a while but then later I woke up again to do the same thing. I think I'm a Milkcoholic.
Later on after 2pm I went to the bank to get the money for the hotel we'll staying in next week in Los Angeles. In total its going to cost $839 for 5 nights at $147 per night plus 14.12% taxes. Thats a lot but since its our first year going we want a good hotel, hopefully its all worth the money. As a bonus, we are getting free rides by shuttles to and and the LA Convention Center since we booked the hotel online at the Anime Expo 2008 website.
Around 5pm my dog starting barking like crazy, she had found another mouse it had seem so after a while I got the hose to flush it out and it work. Right, left, right left it went, my dog was after it and almost caught it but the mouse was too fast and we lost it when it entered the garage. A while later I found another (or maybe the same one) after I flushing a nest nearby and I managed to catch it.

My dog, Chiquita keep looking up try to see if I was going to give her the mouse but I refused to because I didn't want to kill the mouse. I released it in the field back of our house knowing that it would eventually come back.... or not.
Thats all I got to report for today. I got to go to work in a while... oh well.

I got out off work at 3pm today and its was hot outside. I got into my car and it read 109F, thats hot! On the way home the temperature dropped to 106F but that was still a bit to hot for my taste but seen as to how I use to live in a desert, my body gets use to it very quickly.

June 17, 2008 (A Very Good Day - Part 2)
The second reason I wanted to get up early was because my uncle, who is visiting from Mexico, wanted to go to Three Rivers. Three Rivers is located about 20 miles from the city but takes a while to get there since its up in the mountains. Here's a picture:
The drive up the mountains isn't bad at all since the turns aren't that crazy, as a matter of fact you are driving an easy 45mph up the mountain, if not faster. Here's a picture going up, you can see how you they carved the mountain to make way for the road. (well at least it seems so that way but I'm not sure so I might be wrong)
Here's a view from from one end of the lake.
This signs are common all along the road to and from the mountains.
Well after not to long we arrived at our destination and we swam here but only at the safe area.
As you can notice there'ss a road visible to my left (your right) in the picture. That road goes far but since the water level is high right now its not accessible. Well I always use the yellow divider line and the red border ling as a safety so to not go to far into the river. The water level is high so this doesn't look like a river, its more like a lake. No?
Heading down the mountain I took this two very interesting pictures, one of a restroom emerged in water and the other of a floating gasoline station for boats which I have never, until now, seen in my life. I found it very cool and odd at the same time.
Gas anyone?
After that we went to Burger King and got something to eat and then headed home. Shortly after that I went to work hoping the Lakers would win so I could work some extra hours on Thursdays but they fell behind more then 30 points and lost. Didn't get home till 10pm and thats how that day went for me.

June 17, 2008 (A Very Good Day - Part 1)
I was determent to wake up early this morning for many good reasons. One was because I been trying to get my college ID for over and month and every time I tried to get it something seemed to interfere with my desire. I called COS (the college I attend) early to see if I was able to get my Student/ASB Card. I was told that they were handing out the card now so I drove there, payed the the $7 required to get it thinking that I would get it but to my disappointment I was told that the machine was broken and was told nicely if could go back in about a week when the machine would be running for sure. The only real reason I need this school ID is because I need it to pick up my badge for the Anime Expo on July 2nd. Without it I'm basically screwed and I really don't want to miss it but since this will be the only identification I can get before the trip, I really, really need this thing. Yeah... Well with that out of the way (for now) I had to drive to Best Buy to pay the electric bill and that was taken care of easily and I headed back home, though through my little adventure the truck I was driving did turn off on me at least 3 times. *cough* it still needs fixing...
ps. the best buy I'm referring to is actually a store in the city I live. Not to get confused with Best Buy (http://www.bestbuy.com/) which specializes in selling electronics. Yeah, I always got confused until I was told there was a difference between the two.

Nothing much on Saturday. I went to work in the morning at 9am and got out at 3pm. Later me and friend went swimming, the water was cold, very cold but you get use to the water temperature after a while. After swimming we went bike riding to get dry up and them headed our different ways. Didn't go to sleep till pass 12 am.

An OK Day
Today I woke up at round 11 and took a shower and them went to the casino with a friend of mine. No didn't go to gamble myself, it was mostly to watch my friend and not let him gamble like crazy. OK, I did gamble a little but only $15 that were given to me as tips from the day before. Well I lost it. (said face) I'm use to it. Eh, nothing gained except some good fun. My friend ended up getting the exact amount that he took to the casino which was OK too. After driving back to Visalia I was dropped off at work and then I did the regular things I always do. The bad thing is that it was dead most day and got even more slower around 10pm. I ended up leaving work 1 hour and 30 minutes early. A couple of my friends were at my house chilling with my brother when I got there so we hanged out for a bit. Well thats how my day was, nothing out of the ordinary. Oh yeah, 18 more days to Anime Expo! Peace.
ps. I was going to take some pictures of the outside of the casino ( I don't think they allow photography inside) but it turns out my battery was at home been recharged -_-' how lame. Well here's the website http://www.tachipalace.com/

Early Start
Today I woke up around 5:10 am to go do some very early work which I was forced to do, don't worry its nothing bad and its very easy to do. What is it? Well if you know me in person then you'll know but either than that I'm not willing to share with you that information just yet. Anyways after getting back home I tried to go back to sleep but found it very hard so I just go up and made myself something to eat since that usually works but still I couldn't go to sleep. Around 11 or 12am we were going to go swimming but that didn't happened due to some minor difficulties
.
After been bored for what seemed to be an eternity I got the idea of going to the movies. Me and my younger brother ended up seen Kung Fu Panda and I really enjoyed it a lot. What a great movie it was. I think I almost cried (yeah right! No really -_-').

Anime Expo
As of right now there are 23 days (almost 22 in less then two hours) left to Anime Expo 2008 at Los Angeles. I got to tell you I'm looking forward to this a lot and if everything goes smoothly then I'm sure we'll have a great time. Me, my brother, and a friend of mine are going to go starting from Day Zero. Why? Because it's our first time going so we want to have as much time as possible to see everything and thats why we are picking up our badges a day earlier to avoid having to pick it up during the first day of the expo. To make things a little bit more better, we'll be staying in The Westing Bonaventure which is recognized around the world or something like that. The down side of that, though is that parking is very expensive for the day but thats something that we don't have to worry about since we'll be getting dropped off and that means more money for our pockets. Well anyways you can go to their website to get more information if you want to http://www.anime-expo.org/ For now all we have to do is wait, wait and wait till we can go to LA and become otakus. OK I don't know if I can even begging to consider myself and otaku but I'm sure I'll feel like one when I'm there. XD Oh, How are we getting from the hotel to the convention center? Well here's the cool thing, anyone who (pre)registered and booked a hotel online will have access to and from the hotel so thats why we don't have to worry about extra gas and parking. Can I get a Woooot Wooot?
You're My First...
...Blog. Yes, its my first time blogging, well here anyways, but none the less my first time using this free blogging website. With that said I may not know what to do or say so I'll just type whatever comes to mind, hopefully I won't become some sort of zombie at the process and no, my spelling isn't the best so there might be words you won't understand. Soooo this is me:
I would put a little bit more but its late at night and I don't fell like putting anything else in my first blog. The one thing I can say is that one thing I am looking forward to is Anime Expo 2008 so that right there will make my life a bit more entertaining. We'll see how long thats lasts. Hmm, I said I wasn't going to put anything else on my blog huh? So...
